Redmond Derby Days Kids Parade.

Redmond Derby Days celebrated its 71st anniversary and Dr. Nohr celebrated his 16^th year of sponsorship in July! It’s a summer tradition that came to life at the end of the Depression. Derby Days began as a drive to raise money for downtown holiday decorations and school athletic equipment. The Redmond Bicycle Derby was the outgrowth of a small town's community spirit and is now the nation's longest running bicycle race. It includes activities for young and old alike.

 

This year was so much fun and we had a great turn out of kids. Thanks to the sponsors below who helped over 1300 kids understand the kind of community we live in. If you missed it this year be sure to join in for fun next year!
